Drama Workshop Take 5 - The Finale!

Today was Room 4's last drama workshop with Juliet and Peter.  We have had a fantastic time learning lots of new skills over the past 5 weeks.  We are sad it has come to an end.  The skills we have learnt will help us in our up and coming school production.

Enjoy our photos and captions ...
A fun warm-up called Bunny.
We all had a turn at this warm-up.

Exploring old items in preparation for our drama using script.
Exploring items form the 19th century for drama.
Talking in our groups about what we saw in the box.
Recording our thoughts, ideas and responses to a story about early settlers in New Zealand (Digging up the Past) - a situation that was read to us.  We are exploring character and setting.
Practising with a buddy using a script for the scene Sissy and Burt.  We want to make sure our lines do not sound like they are being read, so we use our voices to express how the character is feeling.  Now we are in character.
In-role using a script.  Keelan and Leanne perform in the background while we listen and read our script.
