Snippets of Feast Day at St Mary's School

Congratulations Keelan

At our whole school assembly today, Keelan was presented with a medal, certificate and a new bag for running 50 kilometres as part of the St Mary's School running club.  

Well done Keelan!  You have shown you can persist with a task.

Here is Keelan with Mike.  Mike helps organise our running club and supports all the children who take part.  Thanks to Mike and Deb for their support.

Our Inquiry Topic

We began our inquiry topic this week.  We are learning to speak Japanese and we are also learning about Japan.

After watching a short DVD about Japan, we used a Venn diagram to list the similarities and differences between New Zealand and Japan.
